Wonderful Web Women recognises the achievements of women online through the Wonderful Web Awards. There are no red carpets, no gushing acceptance speeches and no cash prizes, just the warm glow of being recognised for a job well done.
Web Site Most Likely To Change The World
Awarded annually in December, the Web Site Most Likely To Change The World Award recognises a web site which:
a) addresses a significant social issue
b) impacts the entire global community, not just the online community
c) has the potential to cause a noticeable change
d) is primarily owned, run by, or providing benefit to women
Big claim isn't it? This award was inspired by one of our members Ann Oliveri who generously donated a gift to the Wonderful Web Women member who contributed the most inspiring story on :
“How you would like to make a contribution to the lives of others through the Internet”.
